[Data and Analytics Engineer – Lisbon – PT with English]

What do you need?

• Develop, construct, and test, data warehouse architectures and data models.

• Continuously align architectures with evolving business requirements.

• Develop reports as requested.

• Implement changes and improvements though programming language and

tools.

• Access the solution to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Support the Solution Architect in the High Level Design (HLD) definition by

collecting

and sharing data insights.

• Participate in the DevOps Scrum meetings, contributing to a better task

definition,

resource allocation and effort estimation.

• Migrate data and data models, to the cloud, in the scope of solution

migration

projects (usually to AWS).

• Build and maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge on data warehouse

architectures,

data models, and their evolution to the cloud.

Experience and requirements

• The right person will be highly technical and analytical, possess 5+ years of

data and analytics engineering experience.

• Technical degree (EQF- required; Computer Science or Math background is

highly desired.

• Experience in Oracle stack development, 5+ years required.

• Experience, in a technical management role, in a software house and/or

vendor highly desired.

• Expertise in software integration, APIs definition, Databases, ETL mechanisms,

data warehouse and analytics; highly desired.

• Excellent knowledge of ODI, Golden Gate, BIP, Java, Oracle Database

administration, Database Tuning and SQL; highly desired.

• Experience in Oracle to AWS Migration, a bonus.

• Experience in cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS, a bonus.

• Certifications in Oracle, AWS, Agile or Scrum, a bonus.

• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) a bonus.

• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the

ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations in both

Portuguese and English (B2 required, C1 desired
